  1. Provide 1 cup Basmati Rice (long grained rice
  2. Provide 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  3. Provide 1 small Tomato, chop
  4. Prepare 1/4 cup Green Peas

  6. Get 1/4 cup finely chopped Carrot

  8. Use 1 small piece of Bay Leaf

  11. Use 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder 1/8 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  15. Get 1 teaspoon Ghee

Instructions to make Vegetables rice:
  1. Wash rice and soak it in water for 15-20 minutes. Drain and keep aside until needed.
  2. Heat ghee and oil together in a pan on low flame.
  3. Add bay leaf, cinnamon, clove, and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add onion and sauté until it turns light brown or for approx. 2 minutes.
  5. Cut chicken in cube and fry with onion
  6. Add ginger garlic paste and mix well
  7. Add chopped tomato, green peas, french beans and carrot.
  8. Stir-fry them for approx. 2 minutes.
  9. Add spices, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.mix well
  10. Add rice. Stir-fry them for approx. 2 minutes.
  11. Add 2 cup water and mix well
  12. Cover the pan and let cook on low for 15 minutes
  13. After 15 minutes – switch the heat off and let the rice rest for 10 minutes.
  14. Colour full rice ready
  15. When ready to serve – fluff the rice with a fork.
  16. Garnish with more fresh coriander leaves

Directions In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook onion in butter until tender. Stir in the cauliflower, broccoli, rice and garlic. Add vegetables and bring back to boil. Cook till vegetables are soft but not mushy.
