The ingredients needed to cook Easy Spinach Balls:
  1. Get 1 box chicken stuffing mix
  2. You need 1 2/3 cups hot water
  3. Get 1/4 cup margarine
  4. Take 1 tablespoon dried onions
  5. Take 2 packages (10 ounce) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
  6. You need 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  7. Take 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  8. Use 4 eggs
  9. Use Olive oil cooking spray
  10. Use Marinara sauce
Instructions to make Easy Spinach Balls:
  1. Prepare stuffing mix by adding the hot water, margarine and dried onions to dry stuffing, mix all well…….remove from heat…….
  2. Now add to stuffing mix : spinach, Parmesan cheese, black pepper and eggs, mix all well……
  3. Shape mixture into small balls (like Swedish meatball size) and place spinach balls on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with olive oil cooking spray……Repeat until all spinach mixture has been used up……
  4. Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until spinach balls are lightly browned……
  5. Serve with warm marinara sauce and enjoy 😉!

Place the balls on a non-stick cookie tray covered with baking paper, leaving a half-thumb between each bite. Squeeze the excess water from the spinach and put into a large mixing bowl. (If the spinach is not chopped small enough, then go ahead and chop some more.) Add the remaining ingredients and mix well by hand. (I wear latex gloves while mixing and making the balls.) Prepare and bake spinach balls as directed; cool completely. When ready to serve, thaw in refrigerator. Grate onion with a box grater (or chop with a food processor) then add onion to the spinach. Add melted butter and eggs then stir well.
